ho l'impressione che le immagini ufficiali siano come al solito "ritoccate" per fare sembrare le ruote più esterne;

la mia domanda allora è:

-visto che ritenete sia necessario manipolare le foto a fini estetici( cosa discutibile) perchè non adottate cerchi diversi per ottenere realmente l'effetto ruote a filo carrozzeria?

secondo alcune indiscrezioni, VW avrebbe in programma una versione del tutto nuova del 5 cilindri 2.5 litri;

sempre secondo queste voci sarebbe totalmente in lega leggera( con considerevole riduzione di peso) e capace di sviluppare potenze decisamente più elevate dell'attuale

 

A new report indicates two of Audi’s upcoming performance models will get an entirely new turbocharged 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine.

Car & Driver is citing a “highly reliable source” within Audi that has revealed the identity of the motor set to power the TT RS and RS3 Sedan. The engine in question is believed to be engineered from the ground up which means that it basically won’t have anything in common with the existing turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder unit.

The forthcoming TT RS will be the first to get this engine and according to the same report it will be introduced at the Beijing Motor Show (Auto China 2016) which kicks off on April 25. Chances are the Euro-spec RS3 Sportback facelift will also make the switch to the same engine in the near future.

The U.S.-bound RS3 Sedan is set to go on sale next year as a 2018MY with the same engine which is rumored to generate 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts). The number of ponies doesn’t come as a surprise taking into account in February we posted a video from a dealer conference in United States where Audi officials revealed the RS3 Sedan will have 400 hp.

The high-performance compact sedan is said to receive a dual-clutch, seven-speed automatic gearbox and will allegedly be able to run the 0-60 mph (0-96 kph) sprint in only four seconds. Top speed will be electronically capped at 155 mph (250 kph), but in select markets Audi will offer an optional package bumping the limiter to 174 mph (280 kph).

As a side note, we certainly wouldn’t mind seeing this new five-banger unit powering the Golf R400 production version expected to see the light of day next month or in June.

mi pare interessante la versione sedan con questo motore, in grado forse di avvicinarsi alla M 3 o alla M 2

 

alcune osservazioni;

motori:

sparisce il 1.8 TFSI, sostituito dal nuovo 2 litri da 190 cv( anche se in realtà il 1.8 sviluppava quella potenza); purtroppo nel passaggio sono stati allungati a dismisura i rapporti; 5 a marcia come la 6 a della versione precendente!

sembra che per l'italia questo motore sarà abbinato solo al cambio automatico

sparisce anche il 1.4 a benzina da 125 cv;

viene adottato il motore 3 cilindri....brrrr...

l'estetica non appare troppo invecchiata;

le caratteristiche stradali erano già di buon livello; è ipotizzabile un ulteriore miglioramento;
