Announced this morning by TVR Managing Director, David Oxley, at an exclusive preview event held at the new TVR development works in Lancashire, England - TVR Production has resumed! Upon the momentous occasion, which included invited members of the TVR Car Club, TVR staff presented the TVR Sagaris model year 2008. Exterior design has remained the same except for new 5 spoke wheels, while the interior receives a new center console with satellite navigation. As promised back in 2006 by TVR owner, Nikolai Smolenski said "My intention is to expand the sales and distribution of TVR cars throughout Europe, the rest of the world and USA markets is a key part of the business strategy of the company." Built as a left hand drive model, the 2008 Sagaris confirms it will be exported internationally. Preliminary pricing puts the 2008 TVR Sagaris just below 85.000 Euros

Quella in foto è una splendida TVR Sagaris con il 6 cilindri "Speed Six" da 4 litri e 400CV. Retrotreno "Red-Rose" che è tipo autosterzante, cambio a 5 rapporti. Come tutte le TVR, anche la Sagaris ignora completamente le linee-guida dell'UEriguardo alle automobili, non utilizzando così ABS o Airbag, né controlli elettronici per stabilità o trazione, che ne accentuano l'uso in pista. Difatti la Sagaris è stata creata sulla base della T350 per le gare Endurance. Prestazioni? 310km/h di Top Speed (anche se si è fermata a 298 in mano a Top Gear) 0-100 in 3,6 s Tutta in fibra di vetro con un peso di circa 1100Kg ah rigidamente TP :wink: Ps è uscita nel 2004 ed è basata sul telaio della T350C a sua volta ricavata dalla Tamora
