Sono molto perplesso dalla nuova 7. Personalmente non mi sembra così diversa dall'attuale. Inoltre è ricomparsa la leva del cambio sul tunnel centrale. Sinceramente mi sono molto affezionato alla leva dl cambio al volante. Se si confermerà come appare delle spy foto non so se la prenderò di nuovo in considerazione.
Inoltre vorrei fare una considerazione: 6 anni non sono un po' pochini per la vita di un'auto?

 

c'è da dire che la E65 non è stata accolta come mamma BMW sperava, il restyling di mezza età è stato anticipato per aumentare un pò le vendite. La linea era troppo di rottura (se non erro è stato il primo modello disegnato da Bangle) e ha fatto storcere i puristi dirottandosi su Audi o Mercedes o Jaguar

 

...però le vendite alla lunga hanno premiato (é la 7er più venduta di sempre, se non ricordo male).

...é la prima macchina di Bangle (anche se il suo primo lavoro, vado a memoria, é il restyling della E46) e probabilmente ancora la sua preferita perché, credo io, é la macchina che ha fatto da testamento stilistico per il rinnovamento di gamma, sulla quale si é potuto esprimere liberamente (dopo gli hanno detto di darsi una calmata ).

Riguardo la nuova versione mi sembra di capire che, in linea con la semplificazione in atto, non abbiano fatto altro che pigliare una 5er "normalizzandola"...mia impressione. Forse non é neanche del tutto sbagliato: in fin dei conti all'ammiraglia é chiesto di essere una imperturbabile berlina, vessillo tecnologico più che stilistico anche se io avrei preferito qualcosa di più sportivo e coraggioso sulla falsariga della XF (una via di mezzo tra CS e 7er insomma).

 

Non fa una piega l'analisi da te proposta.
Sì difatti le vendite si sono impennate con il rest. cosa che prima non era.
Alla fine hanno semplificato la linea e messo solo quei grossi reni davanti. l'hanno resa più Rolls se vogliamo

 

...giusta osservazione! ...d'altronde se ci pensiamo l'alto di gamma del gruppo ormai comprenderà la 7er come "entry-level" per arrivare (passando probabilmente per un paio di modelli costruiti sulla stessa piattaforma) alla Phantom...

Se non fanno la CS io invece comprerò* l'Aston Martin Rapide che é spettacolare...

Considerando il fatto che la nuova Silver Seraph sarà su base serie 7 ci potrebbe stare la cosa.
Quella che non concepisco è la Phantom Coupè! E' orrenda è dodicimila volte meglio la Brooklands della Bentley basata sulla Azure

 

Io andrei anche di Quattroporte

 

D' altra parte non sarebbe male una serie 7 seriosa se poi viene "accoppiata" alla CS. Si dà la possibilità al cliente di scegliere tra un pò di aggressività in più e un pò di sobrietà.

P.S. le foto che ho visto per me sono ancora lontane dal prodotto definitivo...

Hans Christian Andersen is no longer around to answer, but Adrian van Hooydonk certainly is. Come July 7th 2008 we will find out when the new 2009 BMW 7 Series is shown to the public, according to the fanatics of the Bavarian brand BMWBlog. There is something to be said about a 7 Series reveal on the 7th day and 7th month of the year...What else do these foreseers see a month and a bit ahead?

A few things really, very interesting things. The first of these is a twin-turbo V12 engine, which we guess will be afforded the M7. Yes, the M7 is coming, finally, to instigate a case of power-theft against the 450kW, 100Nm Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG and a possible twin-turboed Audi A8 MY2010. At least 450kW is coming from this high-end ‘bahnbuster. As is BMW tradition, don’t expect M7 to boast huge capacity; it will rather be light for its size and pack a mean punch. M Power strikes back? Looks that way. But wait, there’s more. A twin-turbo V8 bomber expected to be the same as the one found in the X6 and the upcoming 405kW X5.

Following Lexus, which lead the way with its 8-speed automatic gear changer, the 2009 BMW 7 Series will feature this technology probably from ZF systems. XDrive will be a new option for the 7, and as you can probably see from the interior pics, the driver-focused console (tilted to face the driver) will make a comeback on 7. Other techno wizardry will include Dynamic Performance Control and ConnectedDrive. Cosmetically a number of changes appear, notably the flat rectangular slanted exaust pipes and an improved rear end.

e le 4ws chissà perchè ma me le aspettavo. Con le 4ws riesci a ridurre di quasi un metro il raggio di sterzata che sulla LWB ci sta.
