salute a tutti, in arrivo una seria concorrente per le berline medie supermotorizzate; M 3, M 2, Giulia etc [h=2]The glowing brake disc is a sign the test driver was pushing it hard.[/h] Audi took the wraps off the facelifted A3 range earlier this year, but without revealing the crown jewel RS3 which has been caught on camera performing some last-minute testing on the 'Ring. It’s saving the icing on the cake probably for the Paris Motor Show which will kick off at the end of September when we will see not only the revised five-door Sportback, but also a four-door sedan which has already been confirmed for United States. Besides receiving the styling and tech updates that came with the lesser versions, the RS3 will also take advantage of a more powerful engine. In its current configuration, the turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine pushes out 367 horsepower (270 kilowatts), but the mid-cycle refresh is going to bump the number of ponies to a cool 400 hp (294 kW) as per a video from a U.S. dealer conference where the sedan was shown. There’s no word about torque at the moment of writing, but chances are it will increase a little bit over the current 343 pound-feet (465 Newton-meters). The hike in power will enable the RS3 Sportback to run the sprint to 62 mph (100 kph) in less than the 4.3 seconds needed by the pre-facelift model. The sedan will be able to deliver just about the same level of performances and will be a match for the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC which runs the sprint in 4.2 seconds before maxing out at an electronically-capped 155 mph (250 kph). Not only is Audi about to launch a sedan version of the RS3, but the peeps from Ingolstadt have also announced the return of the RS4 Sedan which will probably take place in the second half of next year or early 2018. riassumendo, si tratta di una evoluzione della RS 3 sportback attuale; disporrà del nuovo motore in lega leggera usato sulla TT RS, meno pesante di circa 30 kg e più potente di una trentina di cv; prestazioni ovviamente migliorate; con tempi di accelerazione notevoli, intorno ai 4 secondi sullo 0-100; anche le caratteristiche di Handling saranno affinate , grazie anche al minore peso gravante sull'avantreno; infine qualche considerazione sul prezzo; secondo alcune indiscrezioni si situerebbe intorno ai 52-53.000 euro
