[h=2]M4 GTS concept will soon morph into production car[/h] Our friends at BMWBLOG are kind enough to allow us share some live shots of BMW's two newest concepts.

While the 3.0 CSL Hommage R concept is just for show, the M4 GTS concept is actually a taste of what's to come as it will transform into a production very soon and will keep the water injection system. Those fancy OLED taillights could also be installed in the road-going car which compared to the regular M4 is expected to shave off 100 kg (220 lbs) and lose its rear seats.

BMW isn't saying how much power the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo engine is now producing, but rumors say the production car will pack around 500 PS (368 kW) which will make it substantially stronger than the stock M4 Coupe which has 431 PS (317 kW). Apparently there will be some differences in terms of equipment between the Euro- and US-spec versions due to stricter regulations in United States, so the European version is expected to pack more goodies.

As for the 3.0 CSL Hommage R , it's essentially a race-spec derivative of the 3.0 CSL Hommage unveiled a few months ago at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. As the name implies, it pays homage to special BMW models, including the iconic 1970 3.0 CSL racecar which is actually featured in some of the photos sitting alongside its modern equivalent.

salute a tutti,

se effettivamente ci fosse un alleggerimento di 100 kg ...la macchina, in configurazione di serie,( cioè senza quella zavorra del cambio automatico, 40 kg!) sarebbe a poco più di 1.400 kg e con 500 cv non sarebbe male; certo c'è da attendersi costi in proporzione ma forse rimarrebbe sotto i 100.000 euro

N/u: Bmw m4 gts

Non penso proprio sotto i 100 mila €...la m3 GTS e92 costava 140.000€..
