Io le ho "xrp" (runflat). Mi trovo benissimo, molto silenziose ed efficaci su neve e ghiaccio. Te le consiglio vivamente!
inter Tire Review: Kumho KW17 (Snowned pics posted ) I'm midway through my second season and probably 20,000km on my Kumho KW17's so I thought I'd write a very brief review. The Good - A set of four in 205/50/17 93V (yes it's a little undersized) to use on my second set of OEM wheels was only $700CDN mounted and balanced. - Dry handling is excellent for a snow tire. It feels much like an all season tire. I think this is part to do with the reinforced sidewall that allows it to have a 93 load rating -Wet handling (rain) is very good, especially under breaking. I've never noticed hydroplaning, which I assume is from the large lateral groves in the tread. -Ice handling is very good with lots of sipes that extend all the way through the tread blocks. - Noise is very low, in fact they're definitely quieter than the OEM Michelins. Certainly don't have the annoying tire chirp when I accelerate off a painted line like the OEMs have done since I picked up my car. -Tread wear is excellent and I can easily see myself getting another couple seasons from this set. The Bad -Deep snow handling is not so good. The tread design is not very aggressive for removing large amounts of snow and slush from under the tire. -I got stuck twice last weekend at my cottage. The snow on my driveway was only about 4 inches deep, but I found out that under the snow was sheer ice. I seriously think the tires would have worked fine in either the 4 inches of snow or the sheer ice, but when combined, it was just too much for it to handle. I think the sipes got packed with snow and prevented the tire from biting into the ice. It would have been very interesting to see how other tires would have coped with the situation. I definitely think if the TSX was AWD, I would have been out in no time because the ice was somewhat localized. I could see one wheel gripping but as soon as the other started to spin, it was all over. Add a couple more drive wheels to the mix, and I wouldn't be writing this right now. Overall Excellent value and probably the perfect winter tire for Urban areas. Toronto doesn't have many large snowfalls in a winter, so the average light snow is handled with ease by the KW17's. Ice is a far more common problem in this area, and again, they've been excellent. For the 90% of time the roads are dry or just wet from snowmelt or rain, the Kumhos have been perfect. They're quiet, give a firm ride (unlike many snows), and always feel planted. I give them an 8/10. It would have been a perfect 10 considering the price and their every day performance, but two points were deducted for the two times they got me stuck last weekend.
Io sono contento perchè sinceramente non mi è capitato ciò che racconta questo tizio , pur essendo andato su strade ghiacciate e su neve fino a 4/5cm (nessun problema!). Prima di queste ho montato Pirelli Sottozero...costano il doppio, non sono altrettanto silenziose e non ho riscontrato una differenza palpabile di tenuta su fondi sdrucciolevoli (questo sempre a mio parere)... Quando prendo una fregatura lo ammetto senza problemi!
Mah, io ho le Pirelli Sottozero e non ho mai avuto problemi. Per le gomme non bado un granchè a spese...meglio andare sul sicuro...se arrivi lungo una volta e dai una toccatina, lasci al carrozziere l'equivalente di due treni di gomme.....
Per carità, non ho detto questo, ma preferisco essere sicuro e non fare sperimentazioni, ho sempre avuto gomme di qualità anche su macchine assai meno performanti delle nostre amate BMW...
Io ce le ho!!! Comprate due stagioni fà, quest'inverno le rimonto e sono alla terza stagione... L'unico neo è il rumore di rotolamento che da nuove a oggi è aumentato. Per il resto nulla da criticare.... Direi ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Ottime gomme , attualmente ho fatto 2 inverni e mi accingo a fare il terzo ed ultimo. Su bagnato sono ottime la macchina pur non raggiungendo le prestazioni delle Bridgestone rimane molto sincera e prevedibile. Su asciutto è meno preciso l'inserimento in curva specie nelle curve strette in autostrada nei curvoni non danno differenze apprezzabili con altre gomme estive per intenderci. Su neve si difendono bene , le ho provate su circa 10cm di neve appena caduta nel passo gardena, ottime ,macchina molto precisa e sempre molto prevedibile, forse altre gomme hanno quel "cincinino"... in più in termini di tenuta , ma queste ti fanno capire fin dove puoi arrivare senza tradirti all'improvviso ... cosa che le bridgestone a mio avviso non fanno , quando mollano mollano.... le Kumo KW17 ti avvisano se sei al limite. Costano il giusto , quando le dovrò cambiare , forse proverò qualcosa di diverso.. ma solo per curiosità....
a 300????non è che mi dici dove dato che anche io sono moooolto interessato????a questo punto gli chiediamo 2 treni e ci fa ancora di meno!!!!
