2011 Indian F1 track design India is set to host its first F1 Grand Prix in 2011 – and here’s the first glimpse of the track where the race will take place. The circuit in the Jaypee Greens Sports City bears the usual hallmarks of a Hermann Tilke-designed track. But from this first impression it seems to have some of the open, flowing corners that many modern tracks often lack. It looks like a circuit in two halves, with several slow corners before and after the main start/finish straight. These are surely intended to increase opportunities for overtaking, something F1 car designers have been demanding recently. But the other half of the track includes several longer-radius corners and some quick-looking bends. It’s impossible to get any sense of gradient from this flat map, however. It is an unusually short track – slightly under 5km (3.1 miles). That would make it shorter than any track on this year’s calendar bar the Circuit de Catalunya, Hungaroring, Interlagos and Monte-Carlo.
E vai col Tilke parcheggio... ma perchè le fanno fare tutte a sto emerito caxxone le piste nuove???? sembra ci sia solo lui di architetto al mondo...che se va bene non ha mai girato in una pista....
Il buon Tilke corre in un campionato a ruote coperte con mezzi non da poco, è riportato su Top Gear appena uscito
Ancora peggio allora,perchè uno che corre non può progettare dei parcheggi simili dove prima come dice qualcun'altro si mette l'hotel a 52 stelle,3 lune e 6 satellite e intorno ad esso si fa la pista
io spero che portino tutta la F1 in zone in cui noi non potremo manco volendo andare a vedere un GP dal vivo....così da uccidere definitivamente la F1 :wink: basta con sti luoghi senza tradizione di auto e di corse!!!!
Mi sono dato un'altro anno per vedere se cambiano le cose,visto che Mosley non c'è più..... ma non vedo un futuro roseo! Il problema è che Ecclestone prende molti più soldi da Cammelli & Co. che dalla gente vera appassionata di corse!E finchè avrà un ritorno economico positivo può permettersi di perdere del pubblico.... Prima o poi il giocattolo si rompe però....
