It is reported to make approximately 258HP @ 6600rpm and 221lb-ft torque at 2500 rpm, a notable upgrade to keep competitive with other vehicles in this class. If the torque peak is really that low in BMW's notoriously flat powerband, it will be really fun to drive. It utilizes a new magnesium-aluminum alloy crankcase shaving off about 22 pounds. It makes 12% more power and consumes 12% less fuel. It will also be seen in the new 630Ci, X3, X5, Z4, and more. Re: DICONO Motore della prossima E90... E' normale, nessuna novità......questa è la nuova famiglia di 6L che entro qualche anno equipageranno tutta la gamma dalla 1 alla 7
C'era un interessante articolo sul vecchio numero di Auto che ne descriveva le caratteristiche di costruzione del nuovo 6CL di 3,0l da 258cv.
