Sensibilmente diverso e con potenzialità di elaborazione notevolmente superiori.
Tuttavia, è anche vero che con l'S55, magari potenziato, la M2 rischia di perdere quella purezza di guida che la contraddistingue, consentita anche dall'erogazione molto lineare, quasi da aspirato, dell'N55.

 

Concordo in pieno anche secondo me è così.
Infatti pensavo, alla fine della garanzia, di portalo a 400 da biesse non un cavallo di più con l'aggiunta di scarico mpe e forse anche gruppo Assetto performance per raggiungere, quello che è a mio parere, il nirvana della m2 senza stravolgere troppo la base stock.

BMW recently launched the M2 Coupe Edition Black Shadow to mark the end of the road for the standard M2 considering multiple rumors are suggesting the beefier Competition model will effectively replace the regular version. We won’t have to wait much longer to see the highly anticipated M2 Competition as BMW will offer an online preview of the hotter coupe in the near future, ahead of a public debut slated for April 25 on the dawn of the 2018 Beijing Motor Show.

According to the latest intel, the M2 Competition is set to use a reworked version of the familiar inline-six S55 engine borrowed from the bigger M4 Coupe. In this new application, it will be de-tuned to a rumored 410 horsepower and in excess of 370 pound-feet (500 Newton-meters) of torque. If the numbers are accurate, it means the hardcore variant will pack an extra 45 hp and 27 lb-ft (37 Nm) over the regular M2.

Thanks to the newly gained muscle, expect the BMW M2 Competition to shave off at least a tenth of a second from the sprint to 60 mph (96 kph), which takes 4.3 seconds for the outgoing model fitted with the optional seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission. Don’t hold your breath for a top speed increase as the report mentions the electronic limiter will still kick in at 155 mph (250 kph) or at 168 mph (270 kph) if you’ll order the optional M Driver’s Package.

Aside from getting a more powerful 3.0-liter engine, the M2 Competition is said to receive a slightly sharper exterior makeover with a new look for the front and rear fascias, M side mirrors, as well as fresh body colors. Some new alloy wheel designs could be in the offing as well, together with a few tweaks inside the cabin.

It goes without saying the Competition will command a significant premium over the standard model and it is believed BMW will ask at least an extra €10,000 or about $12,300 at current exchange rates. In the United States, the 2018 M2 kicks off at $54,500 MSRP.

ci siamo ormai

 

Infatti é quello che penso...io molte cose le ho già fatte, scarico, downpipe, assetto Ohlins, cerchi ultraleggeri...appena scade la garanzia filtro in carbonio, intercooler maggiorato e mappa...credo che poi sia già perfetta così...
Inoltre credo, come ho scritto più volte qui dentro, che un upgrade di cui ha bisogno la M2 sono 2 sedili più contenitivi...io prima o poi passerò ad una coppia di Recaro.

 

A quanto pare BMW ritornerà al design classico dei cerchi M788 che saranno in opzione sulla M2 Competition.

Vom Erfolg des M2 angestachelt, laufen entsprechende Vorbereitungen für die Zuspitzung des Kompakt-Modells auf Hochtouren. „Wir haben noch viel mit dem BMW M2 vor“, lautete schon vor Monaten die Botschaft aus Vorstandskreisen.


BMW M2 Competition mit 410 PS
BMW M2 Competition erhält eine verbesserte Version des 3,0-Liter-Turbo-Reihensechszylinders, der es auf rund 410 PS bringen wird. Damit ist das Modell 40 PS stärker als der M2. Das maximale Drehmoment liegt bei 550 Nm. Derart potent soll der BMW M2 Competition per Sechsgang-Handschaltung in 4,2 Sekunden von Null auf 100 km/h spurten. Mit dem optionalen Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (DKG) dürfte der Spurt etwas langsamer gelingen.

Für die entsprechende optische Präsenz verbaut BMW leichtere Karosserieelemente aus Carbon, verpasst dem Hardcore-Renner ein Aero-Package mit veränderter Frontschürze, Splitter, kleinem Heckspoiler und optimierter Abgasanlage sowie einen Diffusor. Zusätzlich sollen noch die beiden exklusiven Lackierungen „Hockenheim Silber“ und „Sunset Orange“ verfügbar sein.

Das Fahrwerk ist entsprechend der Leistung optimiert und tiefergelegt, angepasst wurde ebenso die M Compound-Bremsanlage. Spezielle Leichtmetallfelgen mit Sportbereifung werden nicht fehlen. Fahrer und Beifahrer nehmen auf konturierten Sportsitzen mit integrierten Kopfstützen Platz.

BMW M2 kommt schon auf 370 PS
Wer nicht auf den M2 Competition warten will, der muss sich bislang noch mit dem M2 zufrieden geben. Doch auch das Standard-Modell ist kein Kind von Traurigkeit: Der 3,0-Liter-Reihensechszylinder leistet per Turbo zwangsbeatmet 370 PS und stemmt 465 Nm auf die Kurbelwelle – per Boost sind auch 500 Nm drin.

favolosa; mi auguro che ci sia anche qualche alleggerimento; il prezzo supererà di parecchio quello della normale( 70.000 euro?)
scusate non avevo badato; ma ci sarà sicuramente una riduzione di peso, insieme a miglioramenti di assetto; diventa una macchina che può infastidire auto di potenza molto maggiore

beh, tra poco credo che non gli piaceranno più le auto sportive, visto che già le M4 più estreme non hanno più il manuale...piano piano il manuale si perderà sulle auto sportive

 

Si vocifera + 15000 Euro rispetto alla M2 "base"
