What is an E36 M3 Lightweight?
The M3 Lightweight (referred to internally as the E36 M3 CSL) is a special track-oriented version of the U.S.-spec 1995 E36 M3 coupe designed for serious driving enthusiasts. Though BMW NA originally stated that just 85 M3 Lightweights would be produced, it has been confirmed that at least 114 examples were actually built between August and October of 1995, in addition to seven pre-production models built in January and February of 1995. All Lightweights share their VIN sequence with the standard 1995 M3 coupe and were built in random batches on the standard 3 Series assembly line. In late 1994, BMW Australia ordered 15 special road-going E36 M3-R models to compete in the Australian Super Production series (GT Production class). Originally built as standard M3 models on the normal German production line, these cars were converted to M3-R specification by Frank Gardiner Racing in Australia and were all completed in March and April of 1995. All 15 coupes are painted Alpine White III (300) with an Anthracite M cloth/Amaretta suede interior, plus the following unique features:
-A retuned version of the 2,990-cc S50 B30 powerplant developed in conjunction with BMW M GmbH and Schnitzer Motorsport GmbH featuring different camshafts, revised intake and exhaust ports, a lightened flywheel and a dual-pickup oil sump (as used in the later S50 B32 motor) . With these changes, the engine was re-rated at 324 hp (DIN) at 7,200 rpm and 258 lb/ft of torque at 4,400 rpm.
-Stronger drivershaft from the E31 850Ci
-Shorter 3.23 final drive
-Reinforced AP Racing clutch
-Top speed limiter removed
-Stiffer BMW Group N springs and shocks

Che figata di macchine...La cosa brutta è che l'M3 in usa aveva solo 240 cv ...In australia la R è stata preparata da BMW M e da SCHNITZER ed è arrivata a 324 cv.A parte questo le specifiche tecniche sono ottime e promettono non bene,di più!!!

 

La M3 R doveva essere ultra efficace

e dopo questo gli ho detto che forse forse chiedeva un pò troppo...

ma andrebbe bene solo x ricambi

 

troppo? chiede 6'000 euro... a momenti ci trovi ancora i 320 cabrio E36 a quei soldi

poi 7 proprietari in 14 anni sono 2 anni ciascuno... non sono pochi ma per la macchina che è non mi sembra neanche una cosa troppo strana... è una macchina sfizio che uno tende a tenere poco anche per i costi di gestione

 

...scusa ma nn sono molto d' accordo...
anche xchè ognuno ha i suoi pregi e difetti ma 7 sono davvero tanti...
e se compri un 320ì cabrio con 6000 euro, vuol dire che deve essere xfetto...
un M è già costosa se nn si rompe...se poi ne dovesse avere sempre una hai voglia...e quando ha subito certe traversie...mi sa che la cosa diventa mooolto probabile...
io sono molto paziente..ma tra prendere un M e36 a 9-12000 euro allora aspetto un poco e vado a prendermi un e46...mi sa che ultimamente sugli e36 ci stanno speculando parecchio

6)Su sette proprietari se la macchina fosse in ordine, almeno uno l'avrebbe tenuta!!!
7)Per fare anche noi sette, se diventi l'ottavo ....nn piangere su questo forum

parere personale,secondo me quest'auto è stata molto movimentata...apparte il fatto ke la parte sopra il cassettino in fibra di carbonio,con la targhetta limited edition su ebay si trova "facilmente",sicuramente interni rimontati by e36gt,cablaggio motore all'altezza della centralina motore privo di "nastatura"quindi il ke mi fa pensare ke abbia avulto qualche problema con l'impianto...poi boh io...nn la prenderei mai

 

complimenti per la prepaeazione sei un enciclopedia delle M io però non la prenderei troppi propietari per un auto del genere,io un tempo ho fatto una schiocchezza simile con una delta integrale ciò rimesso anche le mutande
