AIRCORE TM CARBON FIBER WHEELS The 2013 Agera R features the world's lighest and strongest Hypercar wheels, developed and produced by Koenigsegg. What makes this wheel truly unique is that the spokes and centre part of the wheel are completely hollow and made out of carbon, in one piece - together with the rest of the wheel. salute ragazzi, non so se questo risponde alle vostre domande Carbon Revolution has delivered an innovation step change in automotive performance and efficiency. Carbon Revolution’s award-winning “one-piece” carbon fiber wheels are highly engineered products that represent the cutting edge in design and manufacturing with composite materials. The result is a weight savings of 40-50% over aluminum equivalents in an area of the vehicle where weight is the most critical. Since its inception nearly a decade ago, Carbon Revolution has developed and validated this proprietary technology to the toughest OEM standards. Production of the “CR-9” wheel series has now commenced with product currently shipping in limited numbers for Porsche, BMW M3, Audi R8, Lamborghini and McLaren MP4-12C within Europe, Japan and North America, with new designs and fitments to come as manufacturing capacity increases. Wow .. Finora mi pare avessero fatto solo i canali in carbonio, ma le razze no. Chissà quanto durano. Boh. WTP : Water Transfer Printing Cubicatura in italiano /emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">
Ecco non mi veniva! Cubicatura!
VW prova le ruote in carbonio We've already seen carbon fiber wheels on a handful of high-performance models but it looks like they're about to become more mainstream as ThyssenKrupp Carbon Components and Maxion Wheels have teamed up to develop and market new ultra-lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber hybrid wheels to a number of automakers. The companies have already built and tested prototypes for use on luxury cars and crossovers and they promise weight savings of up to 40% compared to traditional "high performance forged aluminum wheels." More interestingly, the companies are working with the Volkswagen Group to test prototype wheels on an undisclosed vehicle. According to ThyssenKrupp Carbon Components Managing Director Dr. Jens Werner, "The cooperation agreement with Maxion Wheels marks an important milestone in the development of our carbon fiber wheel technology. It shows the technological maturity we have reached and combines our innovations with the leading player in the wheel industry." Source: Maxion Wheels
